For Sept, OKRWG has TWO goals.
1) To gain 20 new guild members
2) To have at least 5 people register for RomanceLahoma (but, come on, I know we can get more than that!)
Here’s how YOU can help:
For Guild Memberships:
- Invite your romance author friends to join OKRWG. They don’t have to live in Oklahoma to be a member. (We have members around the world!)
- Remind them that Membership is always FR33 and have them join here: https://www.oklahomaromancewritersguild.com/join
- When registering, there’s a question that asks who referred them. Just tell them to put your name/pen name. ***Why do we want to know who referred them? Because there’s also a G!VEAWAY happening with our goal. Each person listed as a referring member will be entered for a chance to win a $5 Amazon e-gift card at the end of the month.***
- If you’re in this group we assume you’re an OKRWG member. But since I’ve been updating the membership database, I’ve noticed a few names who AREN’T on the membership list who are in here. You can officially join the guild AND enter the contest for the gift card. (Note: People in the OKRWG Facebook Group who AREN’T OKRWG Members will be contacted at a later date, so you’ll be saving me time later down the road if you join now) ***If you’re not sure if you’re an OKRWG Member, you can shoot me an email at: pr@oklahomaromancewritersguild.comand I will check for you.***
For RomanceLahoma Registrations:
- The only way to sign at Red Dirt Romance is to either attend or speak at RomanceLahoma (and we have some great speakers lined up). Tables are limited, so your best bet is to register now to ensure you have a spot at Red Dirt Romance
- If you register now, you’re getting the early bird pricing
- Just like the guild membership, there’s a question on the RomanceLahoma form asking who (if anyone) referred you. Anyone who registers in Sept will be entered for a chance to win a $5 Amazon e-gift card at the end of the month.
I know authors loved to be challenged, which is why I know y’all are going to blow both of these goals out of the water!
